Purpose: This project is designed to have you exam the media you view daily in a more critical manner. This will allow you to make more informed decisions in your daily life.
What You Need To Do: You will need to produce five minute presentation and a paper that compares and contrasts how certain science topics or technologies were portrayed in the two movies. Then you will need to find the history of your topic and summarize how it has progressed since its discover or invention.You will have a list of topics to choose from, you may choose another topic that is not on the list ONLY if it is approved by Mr. Aellig.
Each presentation must contain a visual (Poster, Power Point, Flyer, Handout, etc).
The visual must have:
The title of the topic (You can be creative).
Describe how the technology or science was used in the movie.
Describe the evolution of the science/technology since it was discovered.
A worked cited page in MLA format must be attached to your paper*.
*IMPORTANT: Any paper that does not have both in-text citation and a worked cited page will be marked as an "F" until a paper with citations are resubmitted.
